With this course you can practise:
- Note durations: whole note, half note, quarter note

Note durations are named as parts of whole note. In practise, the basic duration unit of music is quarter note. When you tap steadily with the music, you usually clap quarter notes.
A whole note can be divided as follows:
whole note two half notes four quarter notes -
In the previous exercises the notes were presented as bars whose lengths corresponded to the duration of the notes.
In the normal notation, the long notes get relatively less space than the short ones.
